By the Door; knocking!

Let me tell you something my sister shared with me the other day;

There's a person by the door of my heart, and yours too, knocking endlessly with the hope that you will let Him come in and dine with you/me.
This man is not asking for your food or for you to set the table, it is not for you to worry about what you'll have when he comes in. He says"...let me in and i will dine with you and you will dine with me" (Revelations 3 vs 20)
He provides, Psalms 23 says "He prepares a table before me, in the presence of my enemies" so i hope you see that its on Him.

He is by the door of our hearts, knocking, all powerful as he is, he is knocking, hitting his precious knuckles endlessly on our doors, waiting for a reply, waiting for us, in all our unworthiness to let him in.
He is constant, he is knocking, he is waiting. He can call a thousand angels to break the door down or melt it with His command but He waits, for me/us to let him in. This is love. And he is God.

Have you ever took some time to think deeply on how precious you are in Him. He loves us so much that he gave his only son, so that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have ever lasting life" (John 3 vs 16) not whosoever doesn't sin, not whosoever performed miracles or spoke in tongues or prophesied.. All it takes is for us to believe in Jesus Christ. And tell me who can love us any better than this?

He is by the door of your heart, a heart he created and a heart he can stop anytime! But he waits in the cold, in the wind, in the heat of our ignorance and self sufficiency..he waits and knocks in hope that we hear his knock and let him in. Again i say; the dinner is on him. He says just let me in, thats all.
And you know what else, he could have waited by the the city or town or even the gate, but that would mean we have to *walk* out to open the gate so he made everything easier and came to the the door.

He won't barge in, he won't knock it down ..No! he is not like that. He is loving, He is Love and "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.)" (1st Corinthians 13:4-8)

If this isn't what our souls yearns for then i don't know what else..

Remember all you have to do is let him in, and leave everything else to him!
